Should we choose Norwegian or Princess for our Alaska cruise?
My husband and I are going on a cruise to Alaska in May of 2011 to celebrate our 10 Year anniversary. I am anxious to book the cruise because I'm excited and not a very patient person. As of today, Norwegian has their rates published and I could book with them. Princess still has no information available for that time frame. Several people have told me that Princess does Alaska better than anyone else, but I would like some more opinions. I'm getting impatient waiting for Princess Thanks for your input I should add that visiting Glacier Bay is a high priority for us. Holland America and Royal Caribbean do not go to Glacier Bay.

Which cruise line would be best for an Inside Alaska cruise?
My husband and I are planning our first cruise in May to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We will be departing from Seattle and taking the 7 day inside passage tour to Alaska. I have narrowed it down to Norwegian, Princess, and Holland America because they are the online lines to travel to Glacier Bay. Does anyone have any experience with these lines and can possibly recommend one over the others?

Alaska Cruise - Balcony - Which side?
Ok. Finally decided after much debate that we are going to do a balcony room for our cruise. We are going a Northbound from Seattle, is there one side of the ship better then the other for viewing the scenery??Great replies. I get the not being in the room often. I liked the idea of breakfast, etc. But the key balcony decision was when I read about how crowded the decks are. Anyone ever have any issues not being able to get photos, space to observe, etc.
What are the best sights to see on an Alaska Cruise?

Hard decisions for Alaska Cruise - Princess - Ship and Destinations?
I'd like to book soon. I've narrowed it down that I want my first cruise to be on Princess Cruises. The questions I have 1 Inside Passage or Voyage of the Glaciers which is best?2 Which ship? My options are Coral, Island, Diamond, Sapphire, Golden and Star. It looks like the Sapphire and Diamond are the newest ships. I can't really afford a balcony stateroom...is it worth it to have a totall OBSTRUCTED window for the natural light? Or just take and inside room and save the money?Any Princess advice would be appreciated I'm planning this trip for myself and a girlfriend to celebrate our birthdays this summer we want it to be so great Thanks
