Hi, I have used this answer before so please excuse my unoriginality. It is just completely fitting for your question as well. I like Cruise Critic. cruisecritic.com/ I have found that they offer up just about as much information as you can ask for. Prices, itineraries, stateroom categories, etc... The layout is clear and easy to navigate. There are ship pictures, port pictures, activity lists, etc. I find some of the most useful information comes from the ship reviews made by members. Best of all, once you find and book a cruise you can return to Cruise Critic to sign up for a Roll-Call and meet other excited cruisers who will be sailing with you. |

Right now Princess has a big sale right now.Princess.com or 1-800-Princess. I have been there over 20 times & to me a balcony cabin it a waste. The scenery & wildlife are on both sides of the ship and best viewed from on deck. Princess examples- Northbound(from Vancouver)$449. each. Inside passage ( from Seattle) $549. each. Cruisetours starting at $999. each. |

Check out the link below where you'll find several great options starting at just $499 pp for an interior cabin. Tip: If you find something you like, put a hold on it FAST since rates change often. Plus, if you decide to not go, you won't loose anything. Also, many cruise lines go to Alaska, but from my experience Holland America is one of the best. They have exclusive access to all sorts of different places where other cruise lines simply can't go. Have a great time. |

Www.NCL.com We went to Alaska last Sept. on the Pearl (Norwegian Cruise Lines) and it was great. We had a balcony room, which is definitely the way to go. NCL has what they call "Freestyle cruising ", which means you can eat whenever you want and you aren't told who to sit with. It was very nice. NCL has been having some great deals lately, so check them out. The ship is almost new, too, so that was a plus (very clean). Have fun! |
