Question: Summer fishing job in alaska?

I am a first year college student who was recently looking for well paying summer jobs when I stumbled across fishing in Alaska. I was looking for any information people could give me about it either from past experience or knowledge of the industry. Things I would like to know include: how to get hired, what the experience will be like, about how long I would work and obviously about how much I could expect to make. Thank you for any information you can provide.
