Question: Dog carriers on alaska airlines?

Alaska airlines 737 800and 900 require dog carriers be only 9 inches high. other dimensions 14- 19 x 24. Does anyone have experience with this - I want to buy a sherpa that is 11.5 inches high. Can they be squished down to fit? My dog is 9 lbs . I have sherpa med whci is 17 inches long, 11 inches wide and 10.5 inches tall. I would like to go up to 11.5 inches high. OH, this is for the cabin - tit must fit under the seat. I need help! thanks Leepoo |
