It's an up and coming area. just bought my house in the johnson ranch area for a great deal- 2100 square feet,4 bedroom, 2.5 bath for 180,000. not too much out there right now but the in the future they are planning to extend the 202 highway out there for easy commute into the city, along with several new businesses. crime rate is fairly low due to it being such a rural area. lots of new schools planned as well. it's a buyer's market as far as housing goes in the valley right now-i bought my house resale so i was able to bargain a little more-the owners were desperate to sell as the house had been listed for 70+ days and they needed to move for a job. if you buy new-you might not have as much room to play. so check resale first. here is are a few links that might help you out... queencreek.org/ internest.com/ elitecommunities/ elitecommunities13053.asp johnsonranch.com/ Pages/ JONRANCH.html good luck to you!! |
