Nice state! Dumbest people in the country, according to internet statistics, some racism! But I dont care about the people really! I care about the natural beauty of a place, so Arkansas is a great state to go hiking, canoeing, swimming, hot springing, camping, climbing, and wildlife viewing! I never been, but will go some day to Buffalo River! Arkansas is also where Wal-Mart was invented!

As an English person, i believe arkansas to be a rural farming state with county folk that have a hillbilly esq accent. that's all i know!

Beautiful place to visit, especially in the fall. I enjoyed my vacation in Hot Springs the best. The scenic beauty is the prettiest in the state and the baths are relaxing. The people are very nice.

Well, I have driven I-30 and I-40 and some rural roads. I have camped at Lake DeGrey and Albert Pike campgrounds. From what I have seen and experienced of Arkansas, I think it is a nice state. The wild flowers are beautiful in the spring and the foliage is beautiful in the fall. Most of the people that I have met were very friendly.

Imagine a map of Arkansas. Draw a line from Texarkana to the notch up by the boot heel of Missouri. West and north of that line is hilly to mountainous and east and south of that line is Mississippi Delta and is more Dixie.
