I live in Los Angeles, California and I want to ahve a bonfire with my friends at the beach.which beaches allow bonfires? does Santa monica or Long Beach allow it? do I need a permit of any type?any other advice...

When we went to Carlsbad beach, I had noticed in one area at the end of the road before the sand a bench area over looking the ocean. Does anyone know if Newport or Huntington or others in the area, if they have a bench area over looking the ocean??

I am planning a road trip with some friends this summer including a friend from out of the country. We want to find some sweet places to visit and stay over night for little to no money. Any recommendations as far as places that will let you sleep on the beach or just any good places to see in general? Any secret secluded spots?Thanks

I'm going to California in June. I've already been to Santa Monica beach pier twice and Coronado Beach also. What other beaches should I see on this trip? Is there a good website that reviews beaches in Southern California? I'm staying in Anaheim, a couple of hours drive is ok.
Southern California beach towns that aren't TOO huge or expensive!!! HELP please!! ?
I am thinking about getting an internship out in southern cali this summer. I have a sister in LA and know that it is WAY too big and dirty for me. I am a college student so I want to live somewhere that is affordable and that I am able to actually get around in. One internship that I am considering is in Huntington Beach. If I were to take it, what is a good city to live in that is close enough to drive there everyday but not TOO expensive and overcrowded?? Any suggestions??I guess ive heard things like san clemente or irvine area would be better to live in and more affordable than right in huntington beach...is this not true?Jesus people don't be so rude. What is the big deal of me wanting to go experience something new for 3 months? it's only 3 months. and yeah I understand that most places are probably very expensive..I do have a sister in LA....I realize this. I was just asking what would be the BEST option? Chill people. I'm not totally clueless.
