Best places to camp in Colorado?
I've decided I want to get away for about a week, get my thoughts together, and just go camping in my native state of Colorado. I love being outdoors so this kinda think would be right up my alley. Since I will most likely be alone and obviously be in the wilderness I'm going to need a lot of outdoors stuff to do or else I will get bored. So these are my requirments for my camping spot 1. Most have alot mountains and hiking trials around me so I can spend at least part of my days hiking2. A lake or some sort of body of water with fish in it would be great, I love fishing and would like to do that during the week.3. Most have some short of area in which camping is allowed.THANKS

I know near Colorado Springs they are REALLY conservative church goers and do not accept the scientific facts of this age and try to get science out of school.I was wondering, what is the general acceptance of scientific individuals in Colorado? Being an Evolutionary scientist, will I be treated as a threat or an asset to the scientific community in Colorado and will there be much resistance against my work from church going conservatives?I want to move to a place where my work won't be belittled and having tons of conservative protesters yelling on the side of the streets is just an eye sore.
1st time traveling to west of USA (SF, LA, LV & Colorado)?
Hi, this would be my first time traveling to the west of USA, and I need some help.I would have 4 whole weeks in total, and would like to cover the 4 main locations SF, LA, LV & Colorado . I would be coming from St. Louis. In Colorado, I would like to visit the yellowstone. In SF, I would want to travel up north to redwood national park. In LV, I would like to visit the Grand Canyon. It will just be 2 of us traveling in total.So,1. How much time should I allocate for each of the 4 main locations SF, LA, LV & Colorado ?2. What is the best way to travel from one main location to the other? I would probably be taking a flight from St. Louis to Colorado, and then another flight from colorado to one of the 3 locations ?

Why are the moutain marines train in the serria Nevada mountains not a better place like Colorado?
I think Colorado is a much better place in terms of mountains. Colorado has 58 14,000 FT tall peaks and has very rough and rocky terrain I would think that if the Marines want the best training they would go there.

Emancipation in Colorado?
My friend is 16 years old and about to turn 17 in two months. Her parents have made her drop out of school for the rest of the school year. They basically want nothing to do with her and want to get her emancipated ASAP. Can she still get emancipated if she's not a legal resident? Do they ask about your residency status? Please don't give me racist answers because I really would like to help her out. Only helpful answers please.Also wondering if she can get a Colorado I.D. even though she does not have lawful presence?
