Question: Planning a trip to colorado denver area in march?

Please help me plan this, like do i need a travel agent? Should I rent a car? What are good hotels in the area? Which airline or train or website should I use? It is for 4 days then we want to go to alabama for march 5th for 1 or 2 days then back home to Texas. How do we plan for 1 trip from texas to colorado then to alabama then alabama back to texas, seems difficult...? Oh for 2 or 3 people ages 24 - 25 THANKS for any help you can provide
