The Magic Kingdom pathway is called 'Walk Around the World' and those bricks stopped being sold in 2000. They ranged from $85-$250 depending on the size. Epcot had a similar program called 'Leave a Legacy' but that stopped in 2007. The 'Leave a Legacy' tiles cost $35 for one person or $38 for two people. Because the cost for Epcot's program was so much less than at the Magic Kingdom there is suspicion that when 'Leave a Legacy' launched in 1999 it was taking people away from the 'Walk Around the World' program at the Magic Kingdom. Now, the plus side is that the stones at the Magic Kingdom were supposed to reach all the way around the Seven Seas Lagoon, following the monorail line. This was never completed so it's possible that somewhere down the road Disney will reopen this program to complete this pathway. There are currently stones at the Magic Kindom, Ticket and Transportation Center, Polynesian and Grand Floridian... they just aren't all connected. |
