Forgive the pun, but the two parks are totally different animals. Animal Kingdom's has mostly African and Asian animals you would expect to see in the the jungle or the savannah. SeaWorld deals more with marine animals in the deep blue open sea or, in the case of the penguins from Antarctica, parts of the world you wouldn't normally see. Animal Kingdom has trails that you walk through and discover the animals, while SeaWorld has more what most people would call "exhibits " where you walk through a building and look through the glass at the creatures and read a plaque with info about them. Both parks' attractions are in different leagues as well. Animal Kingdom has more 'human' performance shows, like you'd expect to see on Broadway, like Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo the Musical. SeaWorld does have one Cirque du Soleil-esque show, but the majority actually incorporate the animals themselves. Animal Kingdom does have cooler rides, like Expedition Everest and Dinosaur, but SeaWorld wins in the thrill ride category because they have the roller coasters Manta and Kraken (the latter being my favorite roller coaster here in Orlando). Hope that helps!

You see land animals at Animal Kingdom and sea animals at Sea World so you wont be seeing the same things. So yeah go to both they are really cool

Neither are on the top of my list but they are one of those things you should do at least once. With Busch (seaworld, aquatica, busch gardens, discovery cove) I tend to lean towards Busch Gardens more. Their animal exhibits are more open and the rides are GREAT! With Disney (animal kingdom, magic kingdom, epcot, hollywood studios) I tend to lean more towards Magic Kingdom and Hollywood. But it is all a matter of personal opinion... thus another reason I say that you should go at least once to experience it and to know if you would ever want to go back. Have a great time.

Oh definitely. They are two completely different experiences, two completely different types of parks. They really aren't similar at all, except that both of their themes deal with living things. I go to WDW almost weekly, but I still personally prefer Sea World to Animal Kingdom.

Yes, it is worth it to go to both parks. Discovery Cove is also awesome and you get free admission to Sea World with your package. Sea World has so many rides and attractions. It does take 2 days to see it all.

Absolutely! In fact, I think a lot of people would tell you that Sea World is a lot better than Animal Kingdom. At Animal Kingdom the animals are often trying to get out of the sun so sometimes you hardly see them at all. The animals at Sea World are always visible and you can get much closer to them there (you won't find anywhere to feed/ touch dolphins at Animal Kingdom, for example). Animal Kingdom deals with animals of the land, and of course Sea World is all about marine animals (a lot more fascinating to me personally). You see shows with human performers/ puppets/ animation, etc., at Animal Kingdom, where all of the shows at Sea World (save one) involve live animals. Sea World has better thrill rides as well. I don't really have anything against Animal Kingdom, all I'm saying is that Sea World is still worth it even if you visit Animal Kingdom first. If you only want to visit one animal park, I think you would get the most for your money at Sea World.

Theres really not much to do at magic kingdom. i think sea world is more fun because u actually gt to interact with the animals. i loved feeding and touching the dolphins.
