Pensacola Beach has sugar white beaches, no rocks, no natural reefs. It's great for laying out and swimming. It's pretty poor for snorkeling. The first beach area on the Gulf that you come to after the only traffic light is usually crowded, it's the area to people watch. For more solitude, stay on the main road through the light, stay left, and drive past the houses to a spot you like. It only takes a couple of more minutes. Buy any supplies you need in Gulf Breeze, there is only a few stores out there and you might easily pass them all. |
