Yes, Key West would probably be the only key that would keep four teens interested. Other possibilities: Marathon, Islamorada, Key Largo. But the thing is, most folks who visit don't just stay on one key. The unique--in all the world--thing about the keys is the fact that they are connected by a 100-plus mile "road across the ocean. " I don't think I've ever driven it (100's of times) without being so intrigued by something I see along the way that I pull over and have a look, explore it a bit. Everything is so accessible, on such a narrow corridor; that's the thing. Why not set aside at least one day to just drive it back and forth with the kids. Tip: Insist that they leave their electronic devices behind; but this could be dangerous! LOL |
