Question: Best oahu, hawaii beach park to camp?

We are looking for the best beach park to camp in Oahu, the best and most comfortable place to be with friends. We wanted to hea from experienced campers since we have never camped in Hawaii. We have been told that the camping in north shore, oahu is the most beautiful and safest, any thoughts?

I like Malaekahana a lot, but I haven't been to all that many campsites, so can't give you comparisons. If you have any military connections, Bellows is really a great spot. wanderplanet.com/ vacation-oahu/ oahu-activity-camping.htm

I agree. the north shore has the most open space and lush green forrests, its perfect for camping.
